- What is a Whisper?
- A private, self-destructing message. You write a note, we encrypt it, and it is permanently destroyed the moment the recipient opens it — so it can only ever be read once.
- How is it opened?
- You share a link (or its QR code). When the recipient opens it, they see a confirmation and must tap "Reveal & destroy". Opening is a deliberate action, not a page load, so chat and email link previews can never burn or leak the message.
- Can I password-protect a whisper?
- Yes. Add a password and the recipient must enter it to reveal the message. A wrong password never destroys it. Share the password separately from the link for the best security.
- Will I know when it is read?
- Yes. You get a private status link to check whether it is still unread or has been opened (and when), plus an email read receipt. The message content is never stored after it is read, so it cannot be shown again or recovered.
- How much does it cost?
- A whisper costs a small number of Blue Coins, shown on the button before you send. A password lock and a longer lifetime each add a little. Reading a whisper is always free, and recipients need no account. New accounts start with free Blue Coins.
